3.5⭐ Value for money laksa, filled with chicken slice, prawn and tau pok for $5.
#WeiYiLaksaAndPrawnNoodle
For $4 a bowl, this laksa comes with quite a bit of ingredients. There are multiple customisable options available for both this and their prawn noodles. I got item 2, which is their laksa with prawns and fried beancurd. The beancurd soaks up the gravy and I prefer the prawns over chicken (which comes with other laksa options). Do note that the laksa broth here is not the very gao/thick kind, especially if you are used to the sungei road laksa like me. However, this laksa spot continues to attract their own base of loyal fans with queues forming early in the day. They are often sold out by noon so do remember to head down early if you would like to try this. Am eyeing their neighbour stall Delicious Duck Noodles (which is run by the owner's brother) on my next visit. Take the opportunity to head down to try these before the impending Tanglin Halt redevelopment!
For this combination, it comes with chicken, prawn, taupok, fishcake and beansprouts. The gravy is not too thick and the chicken is tender and bouncy. However, I still prefer their prawn > chicken, so I'd get their other laksa dish if I were to revisit (they offer quite a few customisation options). Do head down as Tanglin Halt is slated for redevelopment and it could be your last opportunity to try this!
Best laksa I’ve tasted so far. Tasty with deep flavor broth. The shredded chicken is my favorite topping. It’s so juicy and pairs well with the broth
Laksa no.6 (Large - $8)
There are 6 laksa selection (different ingredients) and comes with 3 different portion size. The laska gravy was not too thick and not very spicy so it is suitable for everyone.
Nothing beats that generous amount of tau pok which were well soaked in the gravy !!

The ingredients comes with chicken, prawn and/or beancurd. There are different options that you can choose from. One of the other main besides laksa is prawn noodles. Flavourful and tasty.
