The dabao version seems smaller, especially the rice and chicken leg. It's also missing the fried bits that elevate it. This time, the best thing was the chilli.
This is also a gooood nasi lemak in KL.
The taste of the coconut milk in the rice, and its perfectly cooked.
The rendang taste rich and i tried some fried chicken from my friend's portion and it is not disppointed too!
Overall not bad. Will go again if i can.
The restaurant have two floors and its crowded!

If you are not in the mood for the nasi lemak, the Pan Mee is probably the next best thing to order.
The journey there was rather smooth as traffic wasn’t as highly congested on a Friday morning and we got a table almost immediately when we reached but the restaurant soon filled up very quickly thereafter. Went straight for the signature Village Park’s Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng (12 MYR) and if there is one single dish that solidifies your visit to Kuala Lumpur, it has to be a visit to Village Park for this plate of goodness.
The coconut rice was aromatic and fluffy and sambal was a good balance of sweet and spicy. The x-factor has got to be the berempah fried chicken which was well marinated, juicy and tender. Everything was right about this plate and it was a great breakfast to start the day.

I'm sure everyone in KL would have been here or at least heard of this place as its nasi lemak is known as 'the best nasi lemak' in town.
I can't say if it is the best but this place definitely lives up to its fame. The fried chicken is the real star - it is crispy and well-marinated, and amazingly tender, moist on the inside. It is topped with lots of fried crispy bits of spices, which adds extra flavour and crunch when eaten with the rice.
Even though the rice might not be the most fragrant, it is very fluffy with each grain perfectly separated. Mix the rice with the well-balanced sweet-and-spicy sambal, so BOMB! Service was quick and efficient too as our food came in less than 10 minutes.
Malaysians love nasi lemak and it ranges from the basic snack version at RM1 to this at 10 times the price. Some folks consider this the best nasi lemak in the KL area. I found everything good, even the soft hard-boiled egg, with the chilli and the chicken's flavour exceptional. Although the meat was okay, it had such a medley of Malay herbs and spices, that you can enjoy in the form of the accompanying fried bits. It's fun because there are so many things on the plate to go with your already flavourful rice. Village Park might also be the most efficient money-making machine I've eaten at - seats are filled by assignment, everyone orders the same dish, and the payment queue is neverending.
