Trying this salad parlour for the first time!
Small Mix - $9
1 Base (brown rice)
0.5 Protein (Chicken Thigh)
1 side salad (Crab Mayo Salad)
3 toppings (Seaweed Salad, Corn, Egg)
1 sauce (Soy Sesame)
For some reason, today’s bowl wasn’t as satisfying as my urban mix bowls usually are. The lettuce was stale, the fish was dry and had no taste of miso or ginger, and the portions weren’t as big as usual. Also they no longer have my favourite rainbow rice vegetables. Hopefully today’s bowl was just a fluke as I usually like urban mix!
Base: romaine lettuce
Protein: miso ginger dory
Side salad: crab mayo
Toppings: feta (+$0.50), beetroot, seaweed salad
Dressing: smoky BBQ
Love the choices in Urban Mix! They have lots of ingredients that you can't find in other places. I had a small mix but added an extra side salad and got some premium options, so it was $12 in total.
Base: rainbow riced vegetables
Protein: chicken meatballs
Side salads: crab mayo, fajita vegetables
Toppings: edamame, seaweed salad, feta cheese
Sauce: soy sesame
+$1 for the carrot and sweet potato mash which was real good!! On fridays after 3pm(?) there is unlimited topping which is good hehe allows me to get more vegs. Don't usually see wakame as an option so twas good! The kimchi had a good spicy kick
Ingredient choices were really exotic and vast! A mix of Korean to Mexican toppings to be selected. A pleasant encounter located at Icon Village.
Of the fixed menu options available, this seems like the cleanest/healthiest option, with the use of chicken breast as protein, and a carb-less base of romaine lettuce. The chicken is non-marinated but pair it with the roasted sesame sauce that packs a flavourful punch and your tastebuds will be satisfied ☺️ The pickled onions were really appetising too and i particularly loved the hummus!!
