We were instructed to start with the lightest flavour first, which was the kinako soy bean flour then move onto the more intense matcha flavoured one and end with the most intense- black sesame. A nice chewy sweet treat that brought back a taste of Japan.

Love how you get to enjoy the best of both worlds- the refreshing yuzu flavour on one hand and intense matcha on the other hand. The toppings are also thoughtfully paired. Particularly enjoyed the Yuzu pulp topping.

Matcha + Nama Chocolate (below) softserve waffle bowl. (RM15) Matcha softserve is really awesome here, full of lingering matcha bitterness and the chocolate is really intense dark choc. Umami indeed. Get the waffle bowl as it comes with toppings like rice crispies, shiratama and matcha jelly. Pleasantly surprised to find a sesame core bursting out of the chewy shiratama ball. .
