Hailing from Taiwan, this oddly named steamboat restaurant has incredible value-for-money hotpot deals for one. Rainy day dinners are sorted with the Classic Original Pot's (RM11) tasty, clear broth. Otherwise, warm your belly with a Mongolian Herbs Pot (RM15.50) which simmers herbs and spices for a flavour-packed pot. Recently introduced is Two Pesos' BBQ Pot (RM19.50) that allows you to have the best of both worlds — steamboat and BBQ! All individual sets come with a variety of protein, wheat and vegetables.
Avg Price: RM15
Stumbled across this unique steamboat restaurant as an alternative to two closed steamboat restaurants around the corner. Two Pesos will strike you as some kind of filipino restaurant at first, but rest assured - its Taiwan tourism heavy decorated walls will prove otherwise.
This modern Taiwanese steamboat restaurant offers standard on-the-table cooking method in which you simmer ingredients in a variety of broth. Its individual pot concept understands and caters to patrons who crave for different broth which provides for an unconventional dining experience. I had the Classic Original Pot (RM11) which came with one choice of meat (pork, beef, fish) and one type of wheat (rice, yee mee, mee hoon) out of three options respectively. Each hot pot orders include a variety of vegetables, mushrooms and meat balls. Definitely a bargain for affordable meals! Prices range from RM11-RM19.5 and add-ons are also available for those with a bigger appetite.
Lunch time at Two Pesos with my friends. Came across this unique steamboat restaurant! Ordered the Japanese Sukiyaki Pot - RM 15.50 which was a lot for one person! I chose the Pork for meat option and Yee Mee. Yum yum!!
