Treasures Yi Dian Xin (Paragon)

𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐢 ($7.80) - Delicious bites with chewy fresh prawns and tender meat.

𝐂𝐡𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐰 𝐛𝐚𝐨 ($7) - Quite standard steamed fluffy buns with barbecue pork. Would want to try their baked version next time (when in stock).

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐠𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐩 ($7) - Enjoyed the flavourful sticky rice infused with earthiness from the fragrant lotus leaf. Would recommend pairing this with their chili for extra umami.

𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐠𝐠 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐧 ($7.50) - Still one of my favourites with the soft and fluffy charcoal bun generously packed with oozy salted egg custard that was a good balance of sweet and salty.

First time trying this and it’s good!! The shrimp is indeed crispy, the batter is light and delicate. It’s not soaked in sauce so it isn’t too soggy even after some time. But I would probably ask for the sauce to be separate next time!

Yummy! Loved their porridge - the rice grains are broken down into a gooey, smooth, thicc but not toOo thick texture which makes it v easy to eat. Shredded pork is tasty and moist, and the super crunchy youtiao is great as usual. This usually comes with century egg but we don’t eat that so we made a special order for no century eggs to be added. We also had the Grass Carp Fish Belly Congee ($10.80) which had the same great texture but with fish slices instead. Our go-to porridge orders here at imperial treasure!

Treasures Yi Dian Xin is one of my favorite restaurant for dim sum in Singapore. You can be guaranteed of the same great quality across all 4 outlets. Gold oozing out of a soft black bun, probably the best thing Id be seeing this entire week. Liked how the fillings are homogeneous and doesnt strangely separate into a layer of oil and gold.
