This is one of the best stall in Singapore that served pretty good tau suan. Served hot with a few pieces of youtiao.
Perfect as a dessert itself for the breakfast and during the day. $2
If you like something sweet for breakfast this is the dish to have. It may be expensive for just a bowl of mung beans but unlikely other stalls this soup is full of mung beans. Every spoonful is full of mung bean that are cooked just right to bite. Coupled with the fried fritter pieces it’s a deliciously yummy breakfast or dessert.
This is definitely my fav tau suan. Not too sweet and the beans can be tasted separately and not mashed up. Hopefully there can be another stall like this elsewhere cos the stall owner is an aged lady. Yummy yummy yum yum yum. Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 September 1.

Ok. $4. Not totally traditional.
