The Providore (Tan Boon Liat Building)

I'd seen this before but never had it till today. The no-nonsense name of "hazelnut cake"really says it like it is. Although the hazelnut flavour is very apparent which is great, I found this cake to be a little on the sweet side. It's also quite pricey at $9++ per slice.

S$6.80 for this amazing Australian 'slice-of-heaven'. Creamy and not-too-sweet ice cream complements the crunchy and NON-SOGGY cookie sandwich. The size is just nice to be shared with a friend :) They had a total of 9 flavours to choose frm - we had the Caramel Pecan (no regrets!)

If only life can be this good everyday! 😋
