beef was thinly sliced but really tasty. 2 fried oysters were fresh and delish. crab rice was kinda soggy & bland though. overall pretty good for the price ! very busy, bookings essential.
Unfortunately mediocre compared to the rest of their dishes that I tried. I say skip this and stick to their dishes in which the crabs and oysters are really the hero and not an "add-on".
Hiroshima oysters cloaked in panko and deep-fried to a gorgeous golden-brown hue. Each is tucked under a different sauce - (clockwise from bottom right) sesame, mayonnaise, spicy Korean, wasabi mayo, and spicy Sichuan. My fave? The robust sesame.
Instead of the usual Sri Lankan crabs, this rendition stars stringy snow crab meat smothered in a gritty, finger-lickin' awesome salted egg sauce - I daresay it trumps the ones I've had at many other zi char or seafood stalls. It's a steal at only $19.90 for half a crab.
I generally hate oysters. I usually order orh luak without orh. But these were exceptional. Forced myself to eat them for work and I'm so glad I did. They're imported (not live) from Hiroshima, but tasted no less fresh than any live oyster. Slippery, not slimy; slightly briny from the sea, yet zingy from the dressing. This is sure to get your sexy on. And the best bit: you get exactly what's pictured here for only $13.80. SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
