Been hearing about this cafe for so long and finally made my way here. A very photogenic food combination and I love the taste n concept ! 5 toasts for RM27, worth trying ! Btw I like my friend's fake-chip-clutch too :p

Only thing missing is baked beans!! I didn't really like this platter because everything was very salty. Scrambled were good though. Mushroom was sautéed with onions with great seasoning. But still, I think the chef was too generous on salt and pepper. The sausage was also store bought. I wasn't satisfied with it.
Food: 6/10 Price: 6/10 (RM 22 - wow! KL price. Costs you a bomb doesn't it? It isn't too bad as its a basic price for most big breakfasts but based on the ingredients, it should cost lower than that I feel. Store bough sausages, eggs, mushroom and onions, tomatoes, and only thing extra expensive is the bacon.) P/S: I recommend going for their open faced sandwiches instead because that's what they're most popular for.

Another of my favourite cafe but it's really a hassle to look for parking and go through the traffic to reach this place.
Anyways! I love the variety offered. Some may not like open faced sandwiches but I think it's a great concept to taste a variety of sandwich flavours without being too stuffed.
I had avocado and egg, BLT, apple with caramel and almond bits, pesto chicken and orange, and caramelised banana with peanut butter.
Was so tempted to have all 10 choices! But I wanted to try other things on the menu so I limited myself to 5. I shouldn't have ordered the common ones like avocado and egg or the banana and peanut butter toast because I can do it fairly well at home. Go for the special sandwiches like pesto chicken and orange or the apple and caramel. They're amazing! I don't like pesto but this was an exception. Grilled chicken was very tender and the orange matches well with the pesto. BLT is very basic as well. But the bacon crisps gave a good crunch along with fresh lettuce.
Everything is served on white baguette. The sides were quite hard though. And you will definitely get messy with bits and pieces falling off the sandwich as you take a bite.
Will go back to try another 5! I'm so excited with miniatures and varieties. Open faced sandwich is also another reason to eat more with "less carbs" right? 😅 Food: 8/10 Price: 6/10 (RM 6 for one, RM 25 for 5 - it is quite pricey for one and it just gets slightly cheaper for 5. But still, about RM 5 for one sandwich is rather expensive too. But the portion isn't too bad! The sandwich baguette is not your usual small ones but it's slightly larger. You'll be stuffed by the end of the fifth piece if you're having it alone and have a small appetite. Luckily I shared! Underestimated the size of the sandwich 😬) P/S. Bad lighting here though. Couldn't snap a picture to my liking. 😓

🌻 Pesto Orange Chicken, Asparagus Mushroom Egg and Salmon Cream Cheese was good but others was nothing to shout about. Slightly overpriced. @thevioisme

The minimalism in each piece allow their colors to shine collectively on the wooden board, each one holding a different flavour from the other. The shoplot is located on the row directly opposite to Kompleks Selangor at Jalan Sultan, housing a commendable number of street hawkers and shops of traditional architecture. A slight hint of discretion on their part, I suggest to look out for a dim and spacious setting, as the store really stands out from the other shops around it. The sandwiches boasted a mixed array of flavours, as well as emotions, jumping around from the sweet and savoury, favourites were the Orange chicken and pesto slice, Apple salted caramel and cheese slice and the salmon slice. Each piece proved to be rather promising, but paired with the hot chocolate, your tastebuds will go on a psychedelic joyride. Priced at MYR25 for 5 pieces, I'd say it's decent for a snack but rather steep if you were to actually fill yourself entirely with the sandwiches. Cakes and coffee are served here too. The choice of selection for the opening area allows patrons to encapture the crumbed remnants of the city's historical significance, props to The Front Door for their location choice! nevertheless, the innovation of reducing a slice of bread from each sandwiches only allows room for more, so remember to keep track!

Their dark exterior made them almost impossible to spot.
Famous for their different variety of toast. 10 different flavors from sweet to savory, from ordinary to strange.
Be brave and try their different type of toast.
