When you’re here at @tampoposg, just go for their Top Grade Kurobuta Tonkatsu and not get enticed by anything Mentaiko…😌
And if you’re at Serangoon Gardens or Thomson Plaza, you must try the Permium Pork Loin Tonkatsu at @hajime_tonkatsu_ramen! So good and affordable.😋👍

Was pleasantly surprised how this tasted. It was filled with truffle aroma and there were pork cubes. This was definitely a very good twist to the usual normal fried rice. Would love to have more pork cubes though.
Take this Matcha one: very flavour-forward, the tea discernible while not being overtly bitter (though I personally enjoy the bitterness of Matcha coming through in desserts), balanced out with layers of lightly sweetened whipped cream. I didn’t quite like that the strawberries were sour though. I guess the acidity helps lift up the cake a little, but considering how light the flavours were on the whole I’d much have preferred sweeter, juicier strawberries.
Another fav on the menu. I love savoury food with a hint of sweetness and this fits the bill. It’s a must order for me as I usually wont be full after my portion of ramen 😂
My bf’s fav from Tampopo, mainly due to the fact that he likes fried food I guess 😂 But it tasted quite good, fried pork ribs was crispy without being too oily and chewy, soup was tasty. My bf is not a soup lover so usually I’ll slurp every drop of the soup after he’s done with the noodles ✌🏻
My fav ramen from Tampopo. Thick and gooey soup that reminds me of shark fin soup, but with ingredients like Japanese crab stick, mushrooms and ebiko. Portion is a little too small for me as I am quite a big eater. Pricey ramen that I’ll only eat once in a while.
