I went black this time to see the difference. Still better than a regular wanton mee. But it doesn't blow me away. The ample spring onion definitely altered the overall experience.
Excited to try this Malaysian wanton mee that opened in Singapore. Like in Malaysia, you can choose white or black, which refers to the seasoning. The egg noodle and the seasoning hit the mark, while the lard was super oily. The wantons were fine but the char siew you can tell from the photo haha.
