The egg was fluffy and had an interesting texture. The salmon portions were quite small. Some of them were rather fishy. Tried to feedback nicely to the manager but she replied that "the salmon is raw", and after further explanation that we knew that and regardless, the salmon was quite fishy, she insisted that no their "fish is fresh". It was quite a baffling interaction, but just note that the salmon isn't very fresh and they likely won't be open to feedback

Wrote a lengthy post on my favourite item from the restaurant without a photo. Here is the new promo item on their menu. Jiggly, soft with burnt sugar and served with cream and strawberries. They were not overly sweet and has great texture. A matcha souffle pancakes is currently available as the other promo item. Do check them out as well!

Tamago EN has been one of the places that I really want to visit but do not have a chance to until today. Egg themed restaurant serves glorious souffle pancakes that they are famous for and we had the new creme brulee souffle pancakes (not pictured). The eggs on the omu rice is a little overcooked and has lost the optimal creamy-moisture. Overall decently done tamagoyakis and excellent souffle pancakes. Great place for desserts.

Tamago En is the very definition of an egg paradise. Every dish contains eggs, from their all-day breakfasts, salad & sandwiches, donburi & omurice and desserts! Seriously subarashii!⠀

Their Chicken Stew Rice and Omelette comprises fragrant Japanese rice covered with a silky, delicate layer of creamy omelette made with eggs imported from Okinawa. The golden “tornado” omelette dome is then surrounded by demi-glaze sauce, tender chicken pieces and broccoli. Oishi~⠀

Japanese Omelette with Dashi

Taste average and quite pricey for just 3 pieces of tamagoyaki.

Get your egg fix at this Japanese egg-themed restaurant, Tamago-EN, which only uses eggs with golden yolks from an Singapore-approved farm in Okinawa. https://hungryghost.sg/tamago-en-novena-square/
