quite an enjoyable textural experience with the crunchy cong + light clouds of meat + salty clear broth. But taste wise not super porky. It is more reminiscent of chicken rice soup with a pork slant + pork ingredients (meatballs, pork slices). Still a nice accompaniment to the noodles though!!

Ordered the mee kia dry + chili. One of the better bak chor mees out there. Noodles were cooked just right, doing doing kind. gave generous amount of meatballs, wanton, liver, minced pork and lard. Got some dried salted fish also which is great and not too overpowering too. The dry sauce is very flavourful and less vinegary compared to the Hill Street one so you can request for more vinegar from the auntie if you are a vinegar lover! But I thought it was good enough without :)

We ordered Pork Noodle (肉脞面) ($5) (Dry w less chili) & (Soup) on last 2 weeks ago but I was busy with going out during weekend but I have no time to write previous food review. I will do for all the food reviews asap b4 reaching the weekends. So Pork Noodle broth was really good and authentic taste as they were using premium ingredients. I always went to ausg store located at lavender street during weekends and everytime got queue for this particular store. It's not that salty and just nice for overall that they put all the ingredient such as pork liver, meatballs, pork pieces. We felt that the wanton wee was too thick for their skin but the filling was too little in amount.

This was so good I thought it was the Michelin-starred Tai Hwa. The two brands have always been quite similar. I found Tai Wah inferior but this has converted me. There's just something about how every ingredient stood out yet came together as a better whole.
