So happy to be back at this stall after such a long time.

This stall does the best red bean dough fritters and pandan “ butterfly” fritters .

Everything is handmade from scratch daily on site .

My favourite stall of all time .

Will try this next time!

I never like it with red bean fillings, but this is truly a deserving exception!

This traditional fried fritter and doughnut stall whips up a pretty wicked HCP, all freshly made on site. The stall is helmed by a relatively young guy and I hope he gets the recognition for continuing the excellent job of keeping this iconic traditional doughnut. 2nd floor, unit 115 in Chinatown complex. Too bad I forgot to take note of the stall name - Thanks to fellow Burppler @MichelleLIN's helpful direction.

But Chinatown Complex has the BEST YOU TIAO ever! .

A Good You Tiao must be crispy on the outside and springy in the inside. Even after a bite, it is still able to bound back to its original shape. .

After every 2 to 3 batches, the owner will changed the oil to avoid any weird oily smell. This will increase their food cost by 30% but like what the boss said "as long the food is good, earn lesser is ok". Even though it's cost had increased from S$0.50 to S$0.70, I will still prefer this over any other churros.

My favorite among all is the butterfly bun because it is pandan-flavored.

I am especially addicted to the crunch of the sesame seeds on the exterior. Bonus points if there are lumps of it.

These Chinese delicacies are selling for 70¢ each or $2 for any three and they are suitable for vegetarians.
