I enjoyed the Special Sauce Squid with its bouncy chew and robust sweet salty savoury flavour, and the delicious Herbs Butter Scallop with its tender succulent chew and bold sweet savoury salty herbal buttery flavour, yum.
.
Also loved the Herbs Butter Abalone Mushrooms which held up well with a tender juicy texture and bold vegetal earthy savoury salty herbal flavour. The best was the Grilled Pineapple, juicy and smoky fruity sweet in taste, super addictive.
.
The chicken is fresh and nicely cut in medium-sized pieces, with a tender moist chew to texture. The Original Salt-Marinated Chicken Thigh With Lime has bright sweet savoury sour tangy zesty flavour, while the Italian Basil Marinated Chicken Thigh has lovely vegetal meaty earthy herbal sweet savoury flavour.
.
The pork is fresh with a good ratio of fat to lean meat, and a tender fatty juicy chew to texture. Pleased with the Original Salt-Marinated Pork Belly with its straightforward smoky meaty savoury salty flavour, and the Yuzu Zest & Peppers Marinated Pork Belly with its robust meaty fruity salty savoury sweet spice flavour
.
Also loved the Udon With Half Boiled Egg, the pairing of soft chewy udon noodles with grainy sweet flavour, with slippery smooth kombu kelp seaweed with vegetal earthy salty sweet flavour, the wobbly soft runny onsen egg with eggy sweet notes, all served in a calming warm dashi broth with earthy savoury sweet flavour.

The Angus beef is fresh and of good quality, served in a few different cuts.
.
My favourite is the Original Salt-Marinated Prime Beef Rib with its incredibly soft tender succulent texture and robust meaty savoury salty smoky flavour.
.
The Original Salt-Marinated Diced Bite-Sized Beef has the same flavour, but is somehow softer with a tender bouncy bite, nice.

The thing to note when ordering is that serving sizes is counted in pieces, where 1 portion = 1 piece. Thus, we usually order 2, 4, or 8 pieces at a go.
.
When seated, you'll be served a Raw Starting Sampler Platter which features a variety of vegetables, meat, and seafood. Portions are nicely sized to prevent wastage, and staff are fairly efficient at fulfilling orders.

All you can eat Wagyu Yakiniku for $70++
It includes not just the meat, but sashimi, salad, snacks, rice, noodle etc.
For the meat, you cannot specifically order one particular kind of meat, you have to order it as a platter.
The beef quality was nice, but i still found wagyu beef a bit too fatty to my liking. I felt i was rushing to eat fast to try to eat more to get my money back.
For men with bug appetite, it is worth it. For me, a petite girl i would prefer to go to a yakiniku place and pick items i want to eat and eat leisurely
Yakiniku Lunch Buffet
Don't enjoy the meal at all... the food quality from the tasting platter was decent, but overall other free flow items freshness quality and food variety doesn't meet my expectations, not worth the price. More miss than hit, many times the staff either serve the wrong items or miss out on our food order. On the day of visit, quite a number of items not available from the menu, even for a simple bowl of steamed rice (the manager replied rice not yet cook). Really bad service... not full house, only a few tables occupied when I was there, ask for ice water from 3 staffs and finally serve in 30mins later, and they never once refill during the meal, plate with bones was not change/replace. Overall a very frustrating dining experience, just want to quickly finish the meal, paid and get out of the restaurant.
Syohachi short ribs marinated with steak sauce, diced bite-sized beef with salt, japanese wagyu, mussels with herbs butter sauce, tiger prawn with salt, oyster with herb butter sauce
(only one time order, fixed portion for per pax)
The japanese ox-tongue with spring onion and salt that was suppose to be included in the tasting platter was not available on the day of visit, we are not inform until we asked the staff about the missing ox-tongue.
(Part of the Yakiniku Lunch Buffet $38)
