Where else can you find a salted egg carbonara better than this place? This dish of spaghetti is definitely a must try here! The sauce is so creamy and the salted egg flavor is just right! And for those who is meat lover - the pork bacon is cooked just perfectly for you.
S.Wine is famous with 🐷 dishes, especially when it is hidden in B.I.G grocery in Publika. Trends like the more hidden place it is, the more people would pay a visit. The reputation of S.Wine is always good as I heard from people around me, however it is always full at night, especially when dinner time. Was at there during lunch hour and surprisingly it is empty. Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chop (RM28), one of the dishes in their Asian menu, served with steamed rice, fried egg, lemongrass soy and salted egg and duck soup. Nothing to complain with the pork Chop, well cooked. Very Asian kinda dish. The sauce more or less like chili that serve for chicken rice, duck soup is a bit oily to me.
A big bowl of hot and good pork bolognese is so comforting.
With rm 19.90nett set lunch that come with ice / hot lemon tea. This is probably one of the best lunch deal in publika.
*I would highly recommended chiffon egg with roasted pork too
I'm impressed how much the food quality improve since my last visit.
The salted egg carbonara with pork bacon is so sinful but it worth all the calories.
Creamy salted egg sauce with al-dente spaghetti and generous amount of pork bacon chunk garnished with fried curry leave for extra dimension to the dish.
Well balance on the amount of salted egg and cream doesn't make u feel sick before finish the pasta. Very enjoyable meal 👍 #thelastporky
There's something about large slabs of meat, in this case, char siew or Chinese-style braised pork belly slices, sandwiched in between steaming hot flower mantaos (RM25) and some slices of pickles for a little soury kick - making this the ultimate comfort food on a rainy day. Pork belly Satay with Pineapple peanut sauce (RM18) was had on this occasion too. Meat seasoned and grilled to familiar Kajang satay flavours. Hidden deep inside BIG grocers in an unassuming dark corner, one might need to look twice and run through a maze that is also called the Alcohol section. I would highly recommend to wine and dine at S.wine. Currently French La Closerie Des Lys white and red are on offer for per glass orders (RM25). Go for the red to complement your roast. All in all, a great place to get porked.
Another one of my favourite brunch places whenever I am back in KL. it's pricey but it's super worth it coz it comes with a cup of coffee/tea of choice and a glass of orange juice too! How to say no to that!
