Swing by SweetSpot at the ArtScience Museum for a delicious spread of pastries, cakes, tarts and a refreshing round of Coffee such as Brown Sugar Hojicha Latte, Miracle Milo and JJ’s Wonderblend' smoothie.
It was too milky for my liking this time round, but at $3, it’s decent enough to satisfy my frozen yogurt cravings!
Marina Bay Sands is a majestic building that has become one of the most recognisable icons of Singapore landmarks that truly house a variety of options which caters the appetite of the masses in any cuisine! They have an array of celebrity chef restaurants and also not to forget the amazing dessert cafe in the lobby level that has people coming for more of its sweets! The little cafe or kiosk is known fittingly as Sweet spot that offers a delectable yet scrumptious delights of both sweet and savoury! We had the sweet option which is the Raspberry Tart! The queue is fast moving and so do the beautiful tarts. So make sure to order it fast before someone else grabs it. The tart is a work of art with its delicately positioned juicy and plum raspberry that gives crunchy texture and sourish notes to the sweet based tart that was also layered with raspberry coulis.. A must try dessert place when you are in the Marina Bay Area!
Asked for a recommendation and got this. Can’t remember if there’s 5 or 7 types of chocolate used in here but I loved the intense chocolatey bites! If you’re a chocolate lover, you’d like this - you get a variation of sweet and more bitter flavoured chocolate, along with layered textures of them, from the crispy bottom layer, to the mousse, pudding, etc.
A little similar to the Chocolate Paradigm Cake ($9) but with an additional refreshing tartness from the passion curd. If a full chocolate cake is too intense or overwhelming for you, get this for a change!
Out of the pastries we got, I’d say to skip this one. The puff pastry was quite crispy but the vanilla pastry cream was a little heavier and could do with more flavour.
