Swatow Wanton Noodle (85 Fengshan Centre)

One of my favorite places to go not just for my wanton Mee fix, but for laksa as well. The broth is just slightly creamy but with a good balance of spiciness. A very comforting and satisfying treat!

The noodles here are springy and soaked in dark sauce. The highlight has got to be the plump and juicy wontons filled with a generous amount of minced pork, black fungus, shrimp and water chestnuts for that extra crunch. Char siew was lean and not the fatty type. It’s not the best wanton noodle but still quite a good one in a neighbourhood.

Got the $4.50 portion. Quite alot. Changed the noodles to kway teow. Wantons were tasty. Overall value for money 👍

The springy noodles are tossed in a delicious chilli sauce and served with char siew and plump wantons. A pretty decent plate of wanton noodles!

Keep warm with hot soupy food like this bowl of laksa 咖沙 (S$3.50/ S$4.50)
