Matcha Latte 3.5/5
Houjich Latte 3/5

Latte tasted rich and smooth. The hokkaido milk made the coffee creamier. Nice Japanese zen interior to have a cup of coffee.

Finally checked this place off our to-visit list! As I’m not a coffee drinker, my only choices here were their teas. But no complains here, as the matchas we had were really good! We got the iced Hokkaido Matcha Latte ($9) and their seasonal special (Sakura in Kyoto) iced matcha strawberry latte ($9). You can really feel the earthiness in the matcha, and also loved the extra sweetness from the strawberries in the matcha strawberry latte too!

Although this place is not the most convenient to get to, I’d say it is worth visiting for the quality of their drinks and nice zen interior!

Kyoto Yuzu Matcha Spritzer - $9
Japanese Hokkaido Sweets - $3.50
Weekend is the best time to recharge. The refreshing Yuzu Matcha Spritzer is a great choice for the hot weather, saving me from a meltdown
Suzuki Factory Café

The coffee here is at a price range similar to Starbucks. The place is really pretty and it feels like I am in Japan but I think that the Coffee is average. Matcha is a little bitter, it would be nice if they could ask customers if they needed sugar.

A Japanese inspired teahouse hidden in Jurong industrial area gives a “zen” vibes when entering. 😌

For $9 per cup, it definitely worth the quality.
We ordered the matcha and hojicha latte. The hojicha latte powder is strong and smooth, while the matcha latte is very milky.

As a west sider, I personally feel that it is quite inaccessible as it was hidden inside the industrial area and it will be better if you were to drive over.

Operating hours is rather short, and waiting time for dine in is around 1 hour 😨, therefore we choose the take away.
