The pork Liver had a delightful semi-hard texture that i particularly liked but my friend didnt. The pork satay though was super smoky and intense. A must-try over here, worth the walk from jonker area. Come early as they run out of certain meats in the afternoon
.
A popular local eatery specialising in Pork Satay.
.
Most people typically order much more than the requisite minimum of 10 sticks - each table averages around 50 - 100 sticks!.
.
Staff furiously grill these over charcoal in the semi-open kitchen, quickly scribbling down orders on large construction-size sheets of paper.
.
The pork loin is juicy and tender with a slight chew, pulling easily off the skewers. On its own, it has a bold savoury spice salty flavour.
.
The peanut dipping sauce is rich and thick, but has a pronounced sweet flavour that is stronger than the usual nutty savoury taste.
.
Pair with a plate of crunchy Cucumber & Red Onions (MYR RM1 / SGD $0.40), and sticky dense cubes of Ketupat Rice (MYR RM1.50 / SGD $0.50) for a complete meal.

My favorite go to satay place in Malacca. The pork and intestine satay is still unique. The sauce is made of peanut and pineapple. Try it when you come here. 👍👍👍
Very delicious pork satay with equally tasty chilli sauce made from pineapple. Yummy yummy yum yum yum. Posted by Ah Leong San 2016 November 12
Even taking pictures in front of the grill was almost unbearable. The heat and smoke got to me quickly! Haha I guess I can only do the eating! :)
I can imagine how tough it must be to be #cooking in front of the hot #grill for such a prolonged period of time! Uncle asked me why I took so many pictures of him. Hehe. I told him I would "advertise" for him. (Not that this famous store even needs any further advertisement anyway. Lol) Oh wells! Here goes!
