You might see me smiling but doesn't mean my life is real good.

The one and only dessert offered in @straitsfoodcompany is the crowd pleasing choice after all .

Price at RM4.50 , how could you simply resist this?
Even #Thor is coming for it . Strikes!

Decided to try something different today since a number of people had reviewed the laksa. The service was efficient and fast, the Mee Siam is equally good compared to the other stores outside , I would say it's decently presented and the spices are not bad. Prices here are slightly above average coffee shops.

As a Malaysian, I'm so used to Nyonya Laksa that it rarely surprises me. However, the soup (so thick and rich I can almost call it sauce) is just addicitive! Eaten together with prawns, fish cakes, cockles, soft fried tofu (My favorite!) and cucumber slices, it's simply delicious. Priced at RM 7.50, pretty cheap for something SO tasty in Bangsar area.

Traditional Malacca Nyonya Laksa served with a choice of noodles in spicy gravy, touch of coconut milk with chopped cucumber, bean sprouts, shrimps, taufupok and egg. Not bad. 😋

Bangsar has its fair share of local foods like Nyonya cuisine, available at Straits Food Company located just off Jalan Bangsar. If you’re on a hunt for Nyonya laksa, make a pit stop here and check out their Malaccan version for RM7. Burppler Mavis Mok loves the consistency of their soup base, which is neither too thick nor too diluted. To cool down on a hot day, order a bowl of cendol to share (RM4.50) and indulge in the local sweetness of the gula Melaka with coconut milk all in a bowl of shaved ice. If your family loves Nyonya food, you know where to bring them next!

Malaccan-style nyonya laksa served with your preferred choice of noodle. I had mine with kueh teow which perfectly absorb the sourish with coconut milk soup. RM7 per bowl for a good portion to fill my tummy during lunch.
