Verdict: 😋

Not bad. There were nice components and average components, the former being the dehydrated persimmon and cherry tomatoes and the latter being the blood orange sorbet that tasted too much like candy and the sugar shard that stuck to your teeth and made it very difficult to eat

Lime coconut ice was nice, and the fermented coconut and tiny mango was lovable too. However, the semi-frozen mango pudding was basically ice and it wasn't the best texture. Much prefer a normal pudding

Served with pear cooked in sweet rice wine, making it really really sweet. That was eye-opening. The clear beef soup was ok and it's supposed to be served with a fried kimchi mandu. However, chef was kind enough to gift me 6 pieces of superbly sweet Murasaki sea urchin instead. Thanks chef!! Loved these gems of the sea

Aus wagyu short ribs braised, and pan seared cumin rubbed Aus wagyu striploin served with buah keluak sauce

Not their strongest dish today. The short ribs were abit dry, and salty. Striploin was nice in that it was rubbed with cumin, but it was chewy, esp for MBS6/7.

The sauce was very good though, u can clearly taste the buah keluak without it being too much for those who aren't used to it

Seabream stuffed w minced meat was okay. The sauce was q interesting as it was rempah cooked down with fish bones. The caramelised starfruit was amazingly sweet and while the dish usually comes with pickled mussles which sounds interesting, chef kindly swopped it out for lobster since I don't take mussels
