I ordered rice + 2 small soup + ice green tea set, $13.50. Korean chicken soup and crab bisque soup were my two soup choices cos the cashier said they were one of the most popular choices. There's a reason why most of the Soup Stock Tokyo outlets are very quiet, the food taste bad. Korean chicken soup tastes like a super bland, albeit like hospital chicken porridge but without any taste. Crab bisque was filled with artificial taste of many things but crab. The 'japanese' rice was definitely microwaved. Ice green tea was the best thing ever there, tasted like water but better than the soup and rice they served.
10.80$ for a regular soup and a choice of Japanese rice/bread! Bread was tough but went well with the stew like Borsch that was full of ingredients with a slightly tangy flavor! Better (smaller bowl of) soup, bigger bread than soup spoon (???) but 10.90$ is slightly steep hhah
Love the bright, appetising flavours of the Tokyo Borsch. Crab bisque was pretty mild but might be good for those who aren't a fan of intense crustacean flavours.
I love soups, they are my favourite comfort food. And I absolutely love Soup stock tokyo's wooden trays! Besides that the soup is like a milder ma la soup with super tender chicken and lots of vege like tomato, radish, kang kong and mushroom. Initially I thought +$2 was really expensive for the ciabatta but it turned out to be really HUGE. I had to eat half and da bao the other half haha.
Dinner for today is -healthy choice chicken soup and crab bisque with bread.
About the same concept as soup soon just that it's a Japanese kind of thing. (Try their half half soup for first timer so you can try more soup!)
