Siam Village (Macpherson)

One of the signature dishes here - their salted egg covering the chicken drumlets were foamy and coated the drumlet well. What's disappointing was that the drumlet was slightly overcooked as the meat was slightly tough and that it seemed that some meat was taken away from my drumlet ):

Taste was mehhhh as it lacked the wok flavour and it was slightly too dry. Seemed like some ingredients were lacking. The egg stir-fried within was a bit too thin and thready; would have preferred it to be more eminent in size and flavour.

All-time favourite or should I say - a won't-go-wrong dish to order at every Thai eatery?

It really did not disappoint. A generous plate of freshly stir-fried basil minced pork together with chopped long beans, well-seasoned to taste with fragrant rice.

🍴A big serving of yummy chendol that had the right mix of coconut milk and gula melaka without being too sweet. Liked the addition of jackfruit that added a unique taste to the typical chendol ⭐️ 3.5/5 ⭐️
