Mine was nicely done but I wished it was crispier. Mum wasn't happy with hers as there was barely any crispy bits. Now we know why we waited for so long. It's because the usual auntie who makes it wasn't here and the guy who made it didn't have her years of expertise and experience. Auntie only comes after 2 and hence, note to self: come for tea. Not lunch. Still no complaints as I do love this.
The outsides is crispy while the inside is soft.
Some start eating from the outside and work themselves in. Some eat the insides first. But you could always tear off a piece and eat it together.
This was really good with the green beans dhal
