Filling bowl of greens with 5 ingredients ($5) and $1 add on for a generous serving of chicken! Got the avocado honey dressing and it's pretty refreshing :) quick fix of salad!
Lunch earlier today consisting of soba and lettuce with hardboiled egg, cherry tomatoes, oranges, tofu and crabsticks, all tied together with Japanese sesame dressing. Yum!
This salad bowl was introduced by a friend. It's the typical mix and match concept where you pick your own ingredients for a fixed price.
What I like about it is that you can go without a base. No more unnecessary lettuce to munch on and a larger quantity of the ingredients I actually like! I also like their wasabi mayo sauce. Not many salad stalls has wasabi mayo so it's fast becoming my favourite shop in CBD.
This mix-and-match salad stall at Golden Shoe (I don't know why the geotag suggestions only show the Bendemeer outlet) is so, so value-for-money. I've got the base of mixed greens topped with egg, cucumber, tofu, green apple, orange, fusilli and Cajun chicken – all for just $6.40.
But the real reason why I'm having salad? It's so that I have enough tummy room for the Butter Studio cakes I bought for tea. 😝
