[CLOSED] Saboten (Changi Airport Terminal 1)

Super crisp and tender panko breaded pork loin, Japanese curry, rice and endless cabbage. So simple, so tasty.

Went in the morning. Food quality is just as nice as usual. However, disappointed because somehow even though I bought the set meal, the waiter did not allow for rice refills and no dessert was served. Not sure if it's because I came in the morning or because of the location... Not going back here again as I paid the same amount as other outlets yet received less.

This is only available during certain months so check before u go if u want this. I need this every year. The big fat prawns stuffed in crispy Katsu batter pair marvelously with the thick creamy tartar sauce provided. I always ask for more sauce to coat my rice too! Get the curry sauce at $3 to cut thru the richness of the tartar. As they don't have only ebi Katsu set, I create my own by ordering Ala carte ebi Katsu (2pcs) n pair with rice set. Service is good. There is always a queue when I get there, even if it's 9pm!

True and sincere friends are hard to find. Deep fried, crispy [Breaded Pork Loin Cutlet Set S$25] - comes with free flow cabbage, free flow rice, miso soup and pickles. Happy food!

My favourite place for pork cutlet (tenderloin katsu) but I decided to try the assorted today and I really like all of it!! As usual, the crumbs were so light and crispy. I'd recommend this place if you'd like something that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside ;)

Was recommended by colleague before heading off to Changi Airport for welcoming babyhub return to Singapore. Saboten is a japanese restaurant chain well known for their Tonkatsu. Saboten offers unlimited refill for rice, miso soup and cabbage!! After hubby touched down, we had our dinner here.. we were quite suprised with the special TOOL (i.e.small wooden stick) was given for grinding the sesame seeds. Give us a "wow" factor feeling.. Hubby and I like their dipping sauce.. And yay, v asked for another round of cabbage refill! 😁😄😍
