Never able to resist this hearty dish. Ginger, chili with fresh clam. I had it on a cold rainy day and it warm up my body after having this.

Not very sure about the name of this humble noodle dish, my friend always ordered this in hokkien (which I can't understand)

The star of this simple rice noodle clear soup is definitely the pork slice. It's slightly cover in starch to prevent overlooking and toughening the outer layer of meat. It's tender and flavourful to go with the plain noodle.

You can opted for less oil version and it make a perfect meal when you feel a lil under the weather

This might not look like a fancy plate of hokkien noodle, but it's pack with good flavour thanks to "wok hei".

The reallocation of the restaurant due to MRT project doesn't seem to affect their business, the new restaurant that located just behind the previous location is packed with hungry diner during dinner hour.

The Hokkien mee is a crowd favourite at Ming Hoe, but we recommend that you go against the grain and order the underrated Hokkien Peh Ke or Stir-Fried Rice Cakes (from RM6) instead. Largely similar to the former, this version is cooked instead with rice cakes likened to thinly sliced Korean tteobboki. The chewy texture of rice cakes coupled with flavourful dark sauce makes a delectable treat that will keep you coming back for more! Have that with their Kam Heong Fried Lala (from RM15) — these will give your meal the extra punch with the fragrance of curry leaves and belacan. Bring a friend to dine early and enjoy the evening breeze before the place gets packed with its nightly regulars.
Avg Price: RM20

One of the wonders of Jalan Ipoh, Ming Hoe has the best hokkien fried noodles that I've tasted. Dark enough, tasty and great skills. Chinese say Kao Foh ("enough fire") where it is great fried noodles to be delicious.
Clockwise: Fried fish cakes, fried tofu+fish paste, hokkien Mihun mee, fried rice cakes aka Pei Ge.
These are some of my favourites. Other than that are the Loh Mee and Bakau soup (some sort of vegetable and meat soup). Fish cakes are fried to perfection! Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside.
Other than small fried supper dishes, you can order the normal dai chow/big fry (rice+dishes) too. They are all tasty! Especially the steamed clams. 👌
It's always crowded with people during dinner and supper! This leads to parking problems. 😓

Food: 9/10 Price: 7/10 (RM 65 for today's order; dad ordered another plate of hokkien noodle 😁. Although it's expensive for just fried noodles, I don't mind paying given the rare and amazing taste). P/S. Forgive my Chinese pinyin! It's not my first language nor am I good at it.
