What's better than fried gyozas? Steamed gyozas!! Healthier choice & you can eat with less guilt ππ Perfect for side dish, alongside with a few mains π Be sure to dip them in Shoyu for an extra taste ππ
Chicken Teriyaki was so oishiii! Pork Yakiniku was yumz but I'd prefer the chix any day! Share the meat platters with others and then have a bowl of warm Japanese rice each to go with the meat! Carbs & protein makes everyone happy! ππππβΊοΈ
I love the soup! Makes me yearn for it a lot. Feels good to have this bowl on a rainy day ;) the egg is the best thing ever. π
Didn't really expect this to be so worth of its price point; sliced pork stir-fried in savoury sauce and caramalised onions topped with an onsen egg. The strips of pork were juicy and tender, sweet yet savoury and when the egg yolk is broken, adds a silky finish to the meat. For $12.90++, you would also get a bowl of Miso Soup and Caesar Salad at the side. Not the best and the most wow-ing Donburi out there, but certainly is not too shabby and rather value-for-money at an accessible location.
A rather fine dessert considering it came out of a kitchen from a commercial restaurant from a shopping mall; a rather generic green tea ice-cream with Mochi bits that felt like they were lightly starched agar-agar being soft and chewy covered in soy powder and Azuki beans. Could do without the chocolate shavings on the matcha ice-cream
I wanted to try the Toronoki but glad that I had the Yakiniku in the end! :)
