Chilli crab sauce lala [clams] not crabs — I get to dip my fried mantou into the same eggy, spicy tomato-based gravy without messy hands or cracking shells tonight! 🫶🏻

Family bonding time! 🫶🏻

Getting messy and our hands dirty — cracking the crustacean shells to devour its succulent, meaty flesh & mopping up the moreish eggy, spicy tomato-based sauce with the fried buns for a glorious finishing to the meal. 🏅

Absolutely ❤️ this zi char dish — Amazingly tender venison slices sizzling on a hot plate, infused with an addictive and savoury gravy that goes so well with white rice 🍚!

8/10 for price point and food, waiting time was very long (special occasion) better to call in to reserve and order

For those expecting the type of chicken rice balls you get in Malacca, don’t. This stall is run by a team of Vietnamese hawkers who speak excellent Chinese. But the chicken is scrawny, meat is dry and the rice balls are made with chicken rice that are rather flavourless.

Better wait till COVID is over then go to Malacca for the real stuff.

Pretty good tzechar at a pretty good price point 👍🏻👍🏻 We particularly loved the Yam Ring ($18.80+) that was really well done! And came chocked full of ingredients like fried chicken, assorted vegetables and cashew nuts! Other noteworthy dishes were the 4 Heavenly Kings Vegetable ($12.80+) (really nice brinjal, French beans, lady fingers and petai stir-fried in sambal sauce), Pai Gu Wang ($12.80+) (can never go wrong heh) and Prawn Balls ($11.80+) (really crisp and not too oily!). The Deep Fried Pork and Garlic ($14.80+), as well as Prawn Egg ($9.80+), were pretty alright but definitely paled in comparison to the others. Satisfying meal and great for families (even with extended ones)! 😋😋
