The lightly-grilled salmon fillets were very tender and succulent! Was pleasantly surprised to find a few deep fried salmon chunks in the bowl which soaked up the sweet teriyaki sauce very well, bringing out the flavours. 🤤 The pickles and salad at the side were fresh with a slight tangy taste and not overly drenched in sauce which I enjoyed as someone who doesn’t like my greens to be heavily covered in dressing. I also appreciated that they used Japanese multigrain rice instead which is less starchy but still has a bit of chewiness of the usual Japanese white rice.
It’s One of my comfort food go-to place. The soft boiled egg is perfect as it melt in the bowl. The food is made of good quality ingredients, esp the rice. The price is reasonable, comes with no GST & no Service Charge. Nice ambient & interior as they join unit with lighting & furniture shop. New address is 161 Lavender Street #01-04
generous portions! loved how there was a side of salad and seaweed to complement the fish and mentai😋 hopefully they still serve these kaisen bowls (this was from before the circuit breaker 😰)

🤔: Really liked this beef bowl as I felt that all the components of it came together really well. Felt that the beef was a bit tough, but still enjoyable. Love the addition of the corn as it gave every bite an additional slight crunch and a slight sweetness, super yummy!

🤔: A really tasty rice bowl, and made better considering the price and location. Although only $8.90, it came with quite a few pieces of duck which weren’t dry (surprisingly), a bed of pearly Japanese rice, a side of greens, some corn and a perfectly cooked onsen egg. Loved the sauce from the duck so much that we finished the rice despite being very full!

Assorted seafood chunks including fresh salmon, maguro & mekajiki, marinated in Korean-influenced sauce. At just $10.90, it’s actually quite a steal!
