Pie Harbour (Maritime Automall)

This was the plate of smoked salmon bagel ordered by my friend, but I didn't try it. It was polished off the plate without a single complain, so I assumed it was good enough. My friend usually complains if something is not right with the food, so that's good. Hey, more reason to check out the KL outlets! 😏

One of the things on standard cafe breakfast menu that I have always wanted to try would be baked eggs. I remember coming to Pie Harbour the first night before for dinner and telling my friends, "I've never tried baked eggs!"

Of course, my sweet, sweet friends came back to this cafe (it's located right below our hotel) the last day to have brunch, because we enjoyed the food, or I did. Of course I jumped at the opportunity to try out the baked eggs.

It didn't disappoint! I loved how when I poked the yolk, it was still runny, and I love that. Just as how I imagined it to be 😍 it was also served with four pieces of bread, which I used to dip into the bowl of goodness.

In all honesty, I totally forgot what was in the bowl of baked eggs other than the obvious eggs, but whatever that was in there, it was delicious. I was really sad when I had to leave Penang, mostly because of this, but glad to know they have a few outlets here in KL. Time to visit soon 😋
