[CLOSED] Paik's Bibim (Tiong Bahru Plaza)

These 2 dishes amazed me!!!! So much nicer than I have remembered them to be 😍 the spicy pork tasted like a bowl of typical delicious comfy bowl of bibimbap with the gochuchang sauce but the teriyaki chicken surprised me so much because it was a mayo base but the whole combination worked well!!!! Spicy tofu soup was alright (not v flavourful)

I usually avoid bibimbap, but this was gigantic. The tenkasu was also a joy, I can pair that with anything. Unfortunately, the centrepiece chicken was dry teriyaki, so that's not too exciting.

The sesame oil taste was a little too strong, and I prefer it to be less watery! Still somewhat of a comfort food though!

At first it looked like it was a lot of veggies and not enough meat, but it was a surprisingly good portion - left me feeling not too bloated or left hungry! Tasty and clean, simply done!

When you are craving for Korean food but can't find a big group to share the huge portions at traditional Korean restaurants, what do you do? I will go to @paiks.bibimsg because they serve individual portions at affordable prices.

Personally I like the green tea milk latte. Not too sweet with a subtle green tea flavour..not suitable for very serious matcha drinkers though.
