With lots of condiments to jazz it up. Indulgence. I love pancakes and pity this place closed.
2 large pancakes make the base topped with zucchini-skin wrapped smoke salmon flower. The capsicum and onions could be cooked slightly longer to bring out the sweet taste in the vegetables into the fluffy scrambled eggs though. Mini mashed potatoes made the extra side to fill the emptiness on the plate. And a scoop of sour cream. Taste was 7/10, but isn't worth for the price at all.
Our answer to lack of IHOP in Singapore. Interesting concept to serve pancakes from different culinary traditions such as crepes and Dutch Babies. Savoury and sweet pancakes available, Halal joint so that’s great too. Pancakes are generally fluffy and filling; risk of over-ordering but that’s a new normal these days.
The Classic Buckleberry ($13 before svc charge & GST) was nicely done with blueberries and a plop of cream cheese in its middle. The scrambled eggs, turkey bacon and mushrooms were also nicely done. Would have appreciated a little more salt in them though, and maybe.. butter and more maple syrup for the pancakes? Overall, its nice. Would go back to try the other varieties of pancakes!
Blintzes Peanut ($13)-very similar to soggy crepes, taste wise is pretty good. Peanut butter really elevates everything huh? 4.25/5
Buckleberry pancake ($13)-blueberry and cream cheese pancake. Pretty good batter, very rich from the cream cheese, scramble was very much like some hotels' breakfast buffet omelette, pretty good 4/5
