[BEEF NOODS COMEBACK!] Previously located at the old Orchard Emerald (now known as Orchard Gateway), and having shifted to Margaret Drive, Holland Drive & Bukit Merah, Original Orchard Emerald Beef Noodles have now found a permanent home at Pagoda Street!

Serving up wholesome beef noodles with their Signature Beef Noodles ($9.90) and Mixed Beef Bowl ($12.90), it feels like a major throwback with a simple hearty meal!

The Signature Beef Noodles comes with slightly undercooked beef slices, bean sprouts (which I omitted) and salted preserved vegetables!

Having slightly rare beef slices gives you that nice bite as you slurp it down with their thick saucy gravy. If it's too rare for you, you could ask for them to cook it longer, or dunk it into the soup that comes with to cook it a lil' bit more. Pair that with the chunks of salted preserved vegetables, each bite if flavourful & calls for another scoop.

If you're a huge fan, may I suggest the full works with their Mixed Beef Bowl. Apart from the beef slices, it also comes with melt-in-your-mouth tendon pieces, homemade beef balls & beef brisket. All these are also coated in the same said gravy to give you different textures throughout your bowl. Add some acidity with a squeeze of lime and pump it up with some some spice with their chilli & you're all good to go!

Apart from beef noodles, they also have their homemade oxtail stew and soup which pairs well with their garlic bread!

The beef slices were tender, the sauce was fragrant and the saltiness was just nice👌. I finished the whole bowl of beef noodles in just a blink of an eye! And what surprised me the most was the soup with meatballs, it was so full of aroma and addictive! On my next visit, I'll definitely try out the soup version 😍😋

Once located at the former Orchard Emerald, you can finally revive the same taste here at Potong Pasir again. For $7, go for the dry version. The sauce definitely worth the taste.

My era one – when going to Orchard Road was considered HIP.

The beef noodles stall was founded in 1997 by Mr George Cheok, located in the basement food court of Orchard Emerald Building.
The dark brown gravy was thick and flavourful and didn’t dilute easily. The beef cooked just right in texture – tender and soft.

Well, this bowl stands up because many Hainanese Beef Noodle stalls have become more commercialised and generic, all tasting more or less the same.

I ordered beef noodles dry & I can’t describe how delicious this is! This is probably the best I’ve ever tasted. Great value for money! I will definitely be back for more! Highly recommended!

For so many years there has only been one beef noodle stall here with a grumpy auntie & an arbitrary charging system. This is a welcome change and competition is always healthy! #powertothepeople

Noodles were modestly portioned but taste was yummy! Loved the extra salted veg toppings. Sorry for the messy pic I started eating before I remembered to take a picture!
