Chanced upon this newly opened place online and decided to head down for dinner and beer. Cozy little bar, air-conditioned and quiet, friendly service, good for gatherings!

First of all they have a variety of German Beers on tap, which flow directly from their fridge. Pretty interesting when I happened to see that as they were refilling the Beers. The German Weizen had a banana flavor after taste with a vanilla touch, the taste was good but according to my drinker friends, they didn't think that the alcohol kick was strong enough.

Other drinks that I tried were the seasonal apple cider, which was average. The root beer, that was in fact far from what we had expected to be a root beer, because it had more of a stout taste.

Ontap serves mainly Mexican food, but food choices were limited. We had the pulled pork nachos, a huge portion for even 3-4 people sharing. The pulled pork was really tender, and the nachos were generously splattered with cheddar and mozzarella cheese! Also had the fried chicken tacos at $4 per taco. Each taco was made with onion, tomato cubes and relatively big pieces of popcorn chicken, topped with mayonnaise. I am not a fan of Mexican food, but I really enjoyed the taco! We couldn't finish the food despite only ordering 2 food items as the portions were really big.

For now, the bar is only opened on fridays and saturdays from 6-1130pm. The current promotion that they are having for the national day month: buy 5 glasses of beers and get 2 glasses free! *ulu location warned but highly recommended for dinner with drinks!
