OMG one of the best prawn noodles I have ever eaten…. PLS the broth is so good, so thick and SO YUMMY. The broth has been boiled for many hours and if you are scared that it may be too “thick”. I ordered the prawn noodles soup and they give a separate soup that is less Gao.

I ordered the DIY prawn noodle, and they were so generous with the ingredients, 3 big prawns and lots of lala. Best part of it is the prawn is peeled HAHAHAHA. Might be pricey for some, but it is really delicious.

Also the place is open air but very windy and not hot at all

I recently visited Zhup Zhup in Singapore and tried their prawn noodles with pork slices and prawns, seafood pao fan, and ngoh hiang platter.

Prawn Noodles with Pork Slices and Prawns

I came across Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodle in many popular vlogs and knew I had to give it a shot. I tried their dry prawn noodle, seafood pao fan, and ngoh hiang platter, and I was thoroughly impressed.
The dry prawn noodle was a flavorful and satisfying dish. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with a good bite and a subtle sweetness. The prawn broth was rich and aromatic, with a hint of spice. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, which I DIY-ed to include prawns and sliced pork only.

The phrase “Fruits de mer” (Fruits of the sea) came to mind when we first laid eyes on the dish. The prawn noodles we order are all about celebrating the best seafood one has to offer. From the richness of the broth to peeled plump prawns and sweet succulent shellfish, Zhup Zhup signature prawn noodles has a touch of modernity to cater to the young while still keeping the traditions to cater to the experienced. It was indeed a fruits de mer in a bowl, a gastronomic sensation in a quiet corner of Macpherson.

First time at Zhup Zhup and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s been a few days since l’ve had lunch there but I’m still dreaming of the rich prawn broth!

Shared 2 mains and 2 sides with a friend, which was honestly a lot, but we managed to finish everything up. We had: Supreme Prawn Noodles with Dry Kway Tiao, Pao Fan, Ngoh Hiang Tasting Platter and Har Cheong Gai. The star was definitely the prawn noodles and its accompanying soup! Would recommend everyone to go and try the rich prawn broth (:
