If you’re looking for sweet and seafood-y tasting soup, zhup zhup is hands down the place to go. their price point is pretty affordable, and for its quality, it’s definitely worth it. i ordered their dry hokkien mee, DIY prawn noodles and ngoh hiang platter and they were all so good. their noodles has a relatively strong seafood taste which i really enjoyed, and the noodles are al dente 🤤 and their ngoh hiang is fried really well, and they provide a range of ngoh hiang as part of the platter which is really unique and so so delicious! it’s not too oily too which i really like! 👍 overall, a really really good place to visit :)
Ordered the claypot hokkien mee and it was amazing! The stock was rich and flavourful and the prawns were fresh.
Ordered supreme prawn mee and tasting platter, both were served fairly quickly. Prawns were fresh and it came off the shell with ease.
Had the Claypot Hokkien Mee and a Tasting Platter. Highly recommend to anybody who is looking for savory thick Hokkien prawn mee, the tasting platter is good to try various side dishes.
Really enjoyed the hokkien mee ($14), smokey and packed with seafoody flavours. Would definitely recommend this to people with heavier palettes. The har cheong gai was freshly fried and crispy, nice pairing overall.
