O'Coffee Club (Raffles City)

A layer of coffee ice cream, chocolate ice cream then thin layer of hersheys and topped with biscuit bits. I didn expect it to be such a big piece.

I thought I was fooled by their menu’s recommendation of this Truffle, Mushroom & Spinach Pasta with Roasted Chicken (S$18.90). It was greasy, “gelak” and definitely did not taste as exciting as its name.

And I also wondered if the waiters were told not to speak when taking orders. I would have wished that there was a little more friendliness to lighten the quiet atmosphere of the restaurant.

A cup full of mashed potato with chicken chunks and melted cheese is something I think can get soothe my rough morning. This Country Pie (S$12.90) also comes with crackers to dip and scoop the mashed potato. Potato lover, this one is worth a try!

Just a note of caution though: somehow the waiting time for food to be served can be really long (like 15 - 20 minutes) during weekday lunch hour.

Their sweet pastries and scones were not to my likings but their sandwiches were pretty decent.

O'Coffee Club has launch a 3-tiered set of sweets and savoury treats. A very worthy price of $28++ and caters for two. It's available from now till end of April, serve between 2-6pm, only at selected outlets (Millenia Walk, Paragon, Raffles City, Wheelock Place, Wisma Atria and Changi Terminal 3).
