Possibly the messiest bingsu to ever come out from a Nunsongyee kitchen. Having been spoiled by their picture-perfect desserts all this time, I was taken aback by the sloppiness of this one but at least it tasted fine.
The sweet jackfruit strips paired well with the vanilla ice-cream. Upping the ante on the tropical fruit theme were short ribbons of young coconut flesh and nata de coco. As always, the shaved milk ice tasted as light and lovely as freshly fallen snow - pretty much the perfect base for anything.
Just look at the GENEROUS amount of sliced strawberries topped with vanilla ice cream over the lovely shaved ice! YUM! Oreo bingsu and cheese bingsu. The "Oreo" isn't actually the brand it claims to be but still delicious nonetheless. A little pricey but portions are huge -- it's made to be shared. After trying so many flavors, I sincerely believe that the Oreo flavor is the most delicious, but your mileage may vary as my friend found Choco banana to be the best. Advice: One gets better at pouring the milk over time. Pour it evenly because eating the fine specks of shaved ice along with the crunchy cookie bits coupled with the deliciously sweet milk is a heavenly feeling.
Yummmyyy bingsu, share it with a crowd for it is served in a big bowl! Flavourful milk ice so thinly shaved that it looks like coconut bits. A mouthful of ice cream, coupled with some cheesecake, digestive "sand" and milk ice shaving = once-of-a-kind-experience blend of dessert
had the Oreo Bingsu ($12.90). didn't taste like actual Oreo, they probably used another brand but it's all good. ice cream tasted a little bland though! i can't believe i just found out there is another Nunsongyee outlet that's nearer to my house!!
