This is a late post but I wanna say their food is superb. This has pink beef, onsen egg, eggplant, leek, garlic confit. It's clear a lot of thought went into designing it. Everything was classy and delicious. Sadly I heard they've moved again to CBD.

Fish Bowl ($7.80)
The person ask me to try this or super bowl but I preferred this. I wanted to try this previously last year but I have no time for this and push this year instead for trying it out food. I felt that bowl size was quite small but I felt full after eating finish the bowl 😎. The fish was quite fresh, crispy and crunchy even though its frm frozen fish.
Good price point at $7 with a lot of nice rice and shrooms layered with truffle oil. Best place to avoid the hot weather for a budget friendly healthy lunch!
For the pescetarian, Nice Rice serves a Fish Bowl for $7.
The fusion rice pillaf is served with grilled sea bass belly topped with a lime and lemon citrus gel, grilled eggplant and garlic confit.
It is tasty. The fish skin was nicely charred but fish meat was a little too dry and the citrus gel rather underwhelming.
Sequestered in a sleepy hole-in-corner coffeeshop off French Road is the unlikeliest of places. Nice Rice, helmed by a 25 year old former fine dining chef with a pedigree the likes of Bacchanalia and Vianney Massot, is a hidden gem delivering outstanding rice bowls at accessible prices in a not so accessible location.
Their signature Cow Bowl is a must-try, with a fan of roast rump cap beef slices encircling a runny onsen egg in the center. Each glistening, saucy piece is succulent yet retains a good bite, and the rosy blush in the middle tells me the meat was cooked by someone who knows their craft.
Every single ingredient in this bowl was meticulously prepared - from the bed of seasoned rice, to the thoughtful garnishes of shiny eggplant and garlic confit which conferred an added dimension of flavour and texture to the dish. Most definitely worth the trip down at least once to savour this goodness.
