A delightful dried filefish snack that pairs perfectly with sake or beer. Sweet, soft, chewy, and smoky. A simple yet tastisfying treat.

Grilled tender octopus tentacles coated in a sweet-savoury miso butter glaze. The glaze added a rich umami flavour that perfectly complemented the juicy, succulent texture of the octopus. Every bite was packed with flavour and absolutely addictive.

Three succulent prawns with tomalley, prepared in salt, cheese, and mentaiko flavours. The smoky, charred prawn meat was juicy and full of savoury goodness, with the tomalley adding an extra burst of flavour. The salt flavour was already fantastic with its original taste profile; the cheese topping was melty and stretchy, while the mentaiko added an irresistible umami kick. Prawns were easy to peel, making the experience even better.

Crispy chicken wings stuffed with a pork-based gyoza filling. It was savoury, meaty, and flavourful. The fats and juices from the chicken blended neatly with the marinated minced meat, creating a tastisfying and tasty snack. Absolutely delicious!

Sake is more my style, and this yuzu sake from Kyoto Prefecture was nice. With a 10% alcohol content, it was citrusy, refreshing, and had an alluring sweetness with a gentle bite. Best served chilled. A fun bonus, you can choose your sake cup from their collection to personalise your drinking experience.

Each 280ml glass serves chilled premium malt beer fresh from the tap, delivering a rich aroma with every sip. While I only sampled a bit of each for tasting, I must admit beer isn’t really my thing. However, my friend, a beer addict, praised the clean, clear taste and noted that the darker the beer, the richer and more characterful it was. Trust the beer fanatic over me on this one!
