Amazing Singapore sling! The food was sooo nice too, great Thai food!

Legit, good quality Tom yum soup with tiger prawns, this was the family portion split in 2 bowls.

Very well fried omelette, yummy, good sized portion

I liked the mango. And the sweet sticky rice. Good end to a good meal, as usual

Vegetarian. And yum. I like this, and the service

Going to Jim Thompson just before dinnertime, it really was just us and the waitstaff. My friend and I were just looking for somewhere to sit and chill, so we got their Cha Yen ($9.... yup) and sat outside. Waitresses were equipped with mosquito repellant for us, thankfully. The place is beautiful and service is impeccable, I would love to come back again for a meal.... when I have more money in my pocket.

The piping hot soup was served in a tiny bowl complete with lid, for single's portion; I liked it as I thought it was a very elegant and personalised gesture. The soup was thick and spicy, and I loved the fresh springy texture of the prawns.

What a pretty little dessert that was nectarous in taste defining coconut's distinctive flavour. The cempedek / jackfruit strips added a significant improvisation to the lighter taste of the ice-cream. The coconut flesh in the husk were juicy, cottony-soft and incredibly beautiful though.

A large hollowed coconut husk, filled with creamy smooth coconut ice cream, topped with sweet jackfruit. Yum!

The Yam Mamuang / Green Mango Salad was amazing, with its complex yet balanced blend of sweet, sour, spicy.

Also loved the bouncy texture of the Thod Man Pla / Thai Fish Cake, hand formed, with a savoury sweet taste!

I would visit just to ta pao this...
