my fav dish here😋 didn't feel thirsty after and loaded with ingredients!

owner gave us free kimbap🥺🫶🏼 i can see why so many people like it! generous fillings and had a strong sesame oil fragrance

the marinade tastes q different and special~ but the batter and chicken itself is decent

[BUKIT TIMAH, SINGAPORE] Definitely found your next Korean food spot! ✨ With the abundance of Korean restaurants in the area, @myungga2.sg really stands out with its quality food with a retro Korean diner vibe!

We loved all their dishes especially their Seafood Pancake 🦑. It was so crispy on the outside and fluffy within and it was quite packed with seafood ingredients! I think a very commendable point is that they achieved all these without it being too greasy.

If you are a spicy lover, their Jjampong or Spicy Seafood Noodle 🍲 will be your go-to. The broth was so fiery yet rich with strong seafood flavours. Though I was dying from the spice (being a small spice eater 😂), I still enjoyed every mouthful I had HAHA.

For sharing, PLEASE do yourself a favour and order their Soy Garlic Chicken 🐔. The batter was so addictive with its sweet savoury garlicky combination and the meat within was very tender, juicy and so well marinated! Wished I had more stomach space to devour them all 🥹

With their generous portions and delicious food, you can come down for lunch or dinner (they have even more affordable lunch sets!). Thank you for having us @myungga2.sg 🥹 we had such a good meal 😍

It's really for 2 because the portion is quite generous. Strongly sweet and salty, the sauce was thick and the pork belly as always here has a good texture, it's got a good bite without being too hard.

Very satisfying and indulgent

The taste of the sauce is rlly something. It's a little sandy, creamy and very strongly floral. It's alright, and quite filling due to the sauce

Avg as always, the seaweed was quite salty today

Fish roe soup

Fish roe was a little dry, fish sperm is quite different from normal, it's almost like a softer fishcake texture.

But they go very well w the light soup, it's quite addictive and portion was generous

Worth a try if you're the kind who doesn't get queasy from the thought of these exotic ingredients

Simple but well executed and thus delicious. Think it's doenjjang base, with some sweetness. Portion was evidently rather generous too

Carbs on carbs

This was avg, the flavour is super mild, really just sesame oil honestly

i’m a convert. my photo may be lacklustre but this dish is not. It’s INCREDIBLE.

not a huge cold noodle fan because i always feel noodles should be hot then it’ll be shiok…. but today the weather really damn hot so i decided to go for it. i’m a convert. i’m ordering cold noodles every time i go to a korean place from now on.

the soup is so good, i couldn’t believe how refreshing it was! there were fresh pear slices in addition to the vinegar, chilli seeds, and cucumber slices to provide a zesty, complex profile to it. masterfully done! kudos to the chef!

Incredible seafood pancake… i’ve eaten quite a few from different korean places but this takes the cake. we ordered one to share in addition to our mains and it was so good!

crisp and not too oily. the thickness of the pancake was JUST RIGHT. some places overdo it and it’s too thick and gelat, some places are too thin and not worth the money, but this one really hit the spot. seafood was fresh and provided a depth to the pancakes.

recommend dipping it into the sauce! will definitely come back again

Ordered the bean sauce noodles, beef hotplate, and seafood kimchi stew! Everything was so hearty and delicious, and didn't taste like artificial seasoning at all :) Portions were also humongous!!! Super cozy and quaint place with just the right atmosphere~

it was truly a lovely time dining here, the food portions were super generous and the service was top quality. The waiters were kind and helpful and the food were authentic korean cuisines. They brought out tea and many delicious side dishes that i am still dreaming of up till today. There were so many food choices at an affordable price and i will definitely be going back there again!

I tried several dishes at Myung ga II, including the seafood ramyeon, sesame kalguksu, and the seafood pancake(not in picture)!

Out of all, I’ll rate seafood pancake the highest because they were generous with their seafood and there were large pieces of squid.

The side dishes weren’t that outstanding for me, except the seaweed/ kelp one was good!

Myung Ga does not disappoint in terms of the portion sizes and friendly service. Really appreciate the hospitality of the stuff and interesting selection of korean food variety. Recommend the seafood pancake! Absolutely delish!

Located at a convenient location, Myung Ga II offers the most authentic Korean food in the area! I really enjoy the homely taste in the food 😋 My recommendation is definitely the seafood pancake! It's simply one of the best I've ever had.

Coupled with superb service and warm ambience, Myung Ga II is really a gem!

This is the latest Korean restaurant to have opened along the Tanjong Pagar Road stretch offering Korean comfort food such as spam gimbap, spicy stir fried pork and especially the seafood soft tofu stew that I highly recommend. The stew had a strong seafood flavour and comes packed with ingredients. One of the comfort foods that I love is the kimchi fried rice, though simple but when done right, it absolutely hits the spot. The cheese steamed egg is best eaten when served while the seafood pancake could do a bit more time in the pan to crisp up further.

Generous portion of lean pork slices and onions. Would have preferred if there was more sauce. But it’s still a great choice!

The best ttekbokki I’ve had! The sauce is perfect consistency to coat the fish cakes and rice cakes. The cheese is adds that creaminess that works perfectly with the sweetness of the dish
