[CLOSED] My Grandfather Cafe

Dry, with a strong durian taste that cover up pretty much everything else, save for a slight savoury hint from the Cheese. Durian was pungent but not sweet enough.

4.90 for a waffle and a quiet tea to chill; sounds pretty good to me :)

$4.90. The wrap is in green colour!! 💚 It is served hot with fair enough chicken and mozzarella cheese! Not bad, worth the try. Im having this as dinner, but if you're coming by in the afternoon with a friend you can order this to share!

The ice creams are creamy and rich without being too sweet. Enjoyed the first choice for its yummy mix of rich chocolate with macadamia nuts that gave an added crunch while cookies & cream remains a classic choice

🧀 Nah... DURIAN CHEESECAKE! 🎈 🎈 For $5.90, I actually expected a bigger size but since @mygrandfathercafe incorporated the king of fruits into this, maybe I’ll ignore the size 😃😃 Cheesecake lovers may be disappointed as I could barely taste a trace of the cheese in this cheesecake but of course, the good thing is the durian flesh (YES REAL DURIAN!!! 🤩) was so fragrant! 😋😋

😯 Also, the cafe name makes sense as it is a cafe that was set up for the elderly in the Bukit Batok area to work as well as to mingle with each other. Many of them come to the cafe on weekdays to chat and grab small bites as well (that’s if they’re not employees of the cafe! 🤭) #bytheelderly #fortheelderly

PS people flock to this cafe for the variety of cheesecakes as well as small bites (nuggets/midjoint wings) 😄 If you’re slightly hungrier, they have wraps as well!
