This Charcoal Grilled Free-Range Acorn-Fed Deraza Iberico Pork Collar actually made me glad that for once I decided not to order a steak. Also, the roasted jalapeño chimichurri was peppery heaven with the grilled meat. I wished the desserts came in smaller portions because they were rather heavy. Other than that, perfecto!
$12 a serving. Served with salted caramel & pecan ice cream. The pudding is served like a deep fried spring roll and pipping hot. Light and crispy outside and wonderfully soft inside.
Love the concept of this restaurant, which allows you to team your protein of choice with a variety of sides and sauces. I opted for the skirt, a cheaper and arguably tastier cut than tenderloin or striploin. It was char-grilled to perfection and the tang of the mustard sauce lifted it just enough. Highly recommend this combination if you're checking out this place.
Sold the moment I saw this on the dessert menu – a hybrid of dense New York cheesecake and fudgey brownie with peanut butter crumble, bananas, honeycomb and caramel. Incredibly rich, satiating and highly recommended for those with a sweet tooth.
Pretty good selection at this American grill and bar, including scrumptious crab cakes, lobster sliders and mini corn dogs.
Pretty darn good with sweet caramelised pears and vanilla ice cream oozing over a steaming pudding studded with nuts and raisins. It's been a high-strung week so tonight, I'm hoping that the coming one will be kinder to me.
