When we see steamed food, often we will think that the food is blend or tasteless. However, this is not! The broccoli floret is crispy, with the sauce on it definitely make this dish a flavourful one.

My sisterβs picky with her porridges but she gave her thumbs up to this Cantonese-style bowl! π It was thick and smooth with fresh fish slices, not affected by the traveling for delivery. This came with crunchy fried you tiao pieces, ginger and spring onions packed separately.
They also have lots of porridge to choose from - like Sliced Beef with Shredded Chicken ($7.10), 3 Eggs (Chicken Egg, Century Egg, Salted Egg) ($5.10), etc.

Pleasantly surprised by the salmonβs tender pink centre and the nice flakiness. Similar to the other rice bowls, it came with an egg roll, salted veggies and seasonal vegetables.

One of their signatures apart from the duck confit is this spice-crusted chicken leg. The chicken was thoroughly marinated with an aromatic blend of spices. It was tender, fragrant and done mildly spicy. Especially liked that it wasnβt oily and had the pickled vegetables on the side to provide that balance.

A spicier dish among those we had. Basil minced chicken with egg tofu and a fried egg on white rice. In comparison to the other bowls, this wasnβt as impressive, but still a bowl pretty well done. The spice made it very easy to polish.

Had lots to try from MAM MAM and we enjoyed everyyy bit of it! MAM MAM is founded by Chef Sebastian from VENUE by Sebastian and Chef Edmund from Ponggol Nasi Lemak - serving up lots of really tasty + value-for-money rice bowls in NUH. Loved that the bowls we tried had well-balanced flavours and appreciate how they also paid careful attention to preparing each component, like the white Jasmine rice for the rice bowls.
Their duck confit is marinated for 2 days with Asian spices and slow-cooked for 24 hours before pan-frying. Super flavourful and tender! Was just a tiny bit saltier but the side tangy salted veggies and green chilli were nice complements.
We were very impressed by the food especially with the variety there is - apart from rice bowls and porridge, they have the classic kaya toasts, noodle options, double-boiled soups, sides and desserts. Had these delivered and they were already of good quality. Looking forward to head down to have them on the spot! Thank you JY, @mammameveryday for sharing with us your food! β¨
