It was indeed a wild and eye-opener night of whiskey flights from the Tomatin 12 to Tamnavikin, Nomad and my favourite of the evening, the Shinobu Pure Malt Mizunara for the fruity and floral notes with a mellowed finish of oak.

What’s drinking without having some food to go alongside it? At Malts, there is a food menu to pair with your drinks such as small plates of tapas from Crispy Calamari with Garlic Mayonnaise ($15) to Spicy Tomato Beef Meatballs ($18) and a Sausage Platter ($24). If you are feeling hungry, there is the Prawn Aglio Olio Pasta ($27) or the sharing Grilled Meat Platter ($78), with the latter good for 2-3 pax and comes with lamb steak, grilled chicken, beef ribeye and pork sausages.

The whiskeys we ordered were served in a Glencairn whiskey glass, alongside a glass with a ball of ice in it should you wish to have your whiskey on the rocks. AND a glass of water that was refilled regularly. #stayhydratedfam

I can definitely see myself coming here more often after this enjoyable first visit here - be it alone or with friends 😁

Service was attentive & helpful when we asked for recommendations based on personal preferences, which were quite varied. Prices are reasonable, with drams going from $16+ to $23+.

New kid on the block with an impressive selection of whiskeys, including some that are only exclusively available here. Nice cosy space with good air-conditioning & great ambience inside, but you can sit outdoors if you so desire as well.
