This under-the-radar neighbourhood bakery in Bedok is run by Lynda Ann, a passionate young self-taught baker who's quietly drawing the crowds for her quality bakes. Don't expect the fancy stuff here — the cakes are relatively simple, but they are delicious and made with love and care. Her signature Rainbow Cake (from $48 for 500g) is a visually arresting centrepiece perfect for the drama queen among your friends, but we also like the less flashy (but no less tasty) Carrot Cake ($29 for 500g) with a luscious cream cheese frosting and the Chocolate Epiphany ($37 for 500g) — a seriously rich chocolate cake with crunchy hazelnut praline layers. Lynda Ann also has various other special bakes like Boston Cream Pie (order at least two weeks ahead), so contact her to ask for an order sheet.

This chocolate cake is fast becoming my family's go-to for birthdays! We were so surprised by the high quality considering its from a neighborhood bakery, simple yet sophisticated. The ganache is thick and luxurious, the cake very moist and layered with a lovely hazelnut praline crunch in the middle. One of those cakes that satisfies young and old!
Not really a new place but I only found out about it recently when my wife wanted to eat rainbow cake and Lynda Ann's was one of places recommended. The cakes here are awesome!!! It's my wife and mine favourite cake shop now! The cakes that I had tried - Carrot cake, choc cupcake, choc cake etc were all very good and the texture of the cakes are moist and not dry and you dun have the overdose feel after eating it. Two thumbs up!!!
